I think those are the words that fans of the widely popular HBO series Entourage have been waiting to hear for over a year now. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the Entourage movie has officially began filming in Los Angeles.
The news originally came from the director himself, Doug Ellin, when he took to Twitter to make the big announcement.

According to Variety, we can expect to see all of our favorite members of Vincent Chase’s merry band of misfits.
The film includes the show’s original cast of Kevin Connolly, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara and Jeremy Piven. Billy Bob Thornton and Haley Joel Osment also star as a father and son while returning cast members also include Perrey Reeves, Emmanuelle Chriqui and Rhys Coiro.”
As I said before, series creator Doug Ellin will be directing as well as penning the script for the film.
When the show finished its eight season run on HBO, fans were left begging for more. Now, they will get just that; a chance to say goodbye to the characters they have come to know and love over the course of the nearly a decade the show was on the air.
There are not a lot of details readily available about the plot line of the new film. In fact, the synopsis on IMDb is rather vague, if you ask me.
“Film star Vince Chase and his cronies take on Hollywood.”
However, the film has just began filming, and I have no doubt in my mind that as things begin to progress we will see more and more little tidbits of information about the production finding their way to the internet for us to consume in rather quick form.
Entourage is expected to be released in theaters sometime in 2015.
