The NBA trade deadline is in less than 24 hours, but a lot of attention is being focused on the 2014 offseason and even the 2015 offseason and their respective free agent classes. One guy set to hit free agency in 2015 is Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love.

As far as almost everyone is concerned, the All-Star is expected to opt-out of his contract and sign with another team, but general manager Flip Saunders is getting sick of hearing this rumors. After the Wolves 104-91 win over the Eastern Conference’s best team in the Indiana Pacers, Saunders took to Twitter to quiet rumors that Love is being traded or that he plans on opting out of his contract in 2015.

The bit about Love not being traded is far more relevant, as 2015 is too far ahead to predict. Still, it’s nice that the Wolves are starting to push back on the national consensus that their best player hates playing for them and their fans, and it shows that Love opting out may not be as certain as it seems.
