The 2014 NFL Scouting Combine is underway at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, but the preparation for individual workouts began immediately after the conclusion of the college football season.

For Texas A&M star quarterback Johnny Manziel, the combine prep included working out in San Diego with quarterback guru George Whitfield.

According to Karen Guregian of the Boston Herald, Manziel sought after advice from New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady as he prepared for the biggest job interview of his life.

The advice from Brady to Manziel was simple:  “ignore the noise.”

We will have to see how Manziel is able to handle himself during team interviews and when he does his limited work outs on the field, but we would expect Manziel to have a good showing and come away solidifying himself as a top six pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.
