After looking at several players, including Los Angeles Lakers’ power forward Pau Gasol, Orlando Magic guard Arron Afflalo, Philadelphia 76ers swingman Evan Turner and Boston Celtics’ power forward Brandon Bass, the Charlotte Bobcats have finally struck a deal.

The Bobcats have traded point guard Ramon Sessions and forward Jeff Adrien to the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for point guard Luke Ridnour and shooting guard Gary Neal.

The great Adrian Wojnarowski confirmed Bonnell’s report.

The Bobcats recently gave up their pursuit of Afflalo and Turner and turned their attention to Neal. Not only did they get a shooting guard they wanted and needed, they got a point guard to replace the outgoing Sessions.

Ridnour is averaging 5.7 points, 3.4 assists and 1.7 rebounds per game while Neal is putting up 10.0 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.5 rebounds per game.

Sessions is putting up 10.5 points, 3.7 assists and 2.1 rebounds per game and is scoring 2.3 points and pulling down 3.5 rebounds per game. Both players have expiring contracts.
