The Minnesota Timberwolves were highly interested in Andre Miller, but it appears the Denver Nuggets have decided to look elsewhere and trade their banished point guard to the Washington Wizards.
That has left Minnesota without the backup point guard they so desire.
Hearing that the Timberwolves, falling short on getting Andre Miller, are reaching out to Cavs to try and get Jarrett Jack.
The Cavaliers were in discussions to send Jack to the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night, however that trade appears to be all but dead after Cleveland was unable to find a third team to absorb the salary of Jason Thompson.
That lead to speculation that Jack likely would not be traded today, but the Timberwolves – fearing a potential strike out on their point guard situation – have seemingly put their foot through the door at the last minute.
There has been no mention of what would potentially be sent back to Cleveland in such a deal.
