After yesterday’s release of a video showing Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice pulling his unconscious fiancee out of an elevator, and the summons from the Atlantic City Municipal Court alleging Rice struck her, new statements have been issued by Rice’s attorneys and the team.

According to ProFootballTalkthe team confirmed that they have seen the video, and are gathering information about it. Rice’s attorney, meanwhile had initally described the incident as a “very minor physical altercation”, but since that appears to have been disproven, a new statement has been issued.

Via the Baltimore Sun, Michael Diamondstein issued this comment:

"“The video that has been put up by TMZ shows the very end of what transpired between Ray and his fiancée. We are confident that by the time all of the facts are in the open, the public will have a complete and true picture of what actually transpired, and we just ask that the public remember what a high-character, good person Ray is, and that they reserve judgment until all the facts are out.”"

After the summons was issued there were no further statements.
