Just when the Oklahoma City Thunder got one starter back, another goes down.

Kendrick Perkins left early in the third quarter tonight against the Miami Heat.

Early reports are announcing that the center has suffered a left groin strain and will not return.

The Thunder currently trail the Heat 70-51 in the third quarter.

Perkins finished the night with just 1 rebound in 8 minutes of action. The Thunder were outscored by 12 with Perkins on the court.

This is not the first time Perkins has suffered a groin strain. He suffered a similar injury during the 2011 playoffs against the eventual champion Dallas Mavericks.
