Earlier today we brought you a short video of the former Middleweight champion, Anderson Silva, walking without crutches. If that was not unbelievable enough, we now bring you a short video of Anderson Silva hitting mitts today. Check out the video below (Courtesy of @Tap_Nap_Snap):

It is truly incredible that Silva is back to hitting mitts and walking around only two months removed from his horrific leg injury at UFC 168. In the second round of his epicly billed rematch for the Middleweight championship, Silva threw a very hard leg kick that was checked by Chris Weidman. Silva’s shin collided with Weidman’s knee, and subsequently snapped in two. The bout was immediately stopped and Silva was in agony on the Octagon floor.

All of these updates from Silva are reassuring that he is doing quite well during his rehabilitation process and that he wants to return to the Octagon. Silva has stated that he would like to make his return in 2014, but there is certainly a long way to go. If anyone can do it, it would be Anderson Silva.
