Marvel Releases New TV Spot for Captain America: The Winter Soldier (Video)

As I said before, Marvel has certainly been on a role this week. Some of their projects like Ant-Man are starting to kick into high gear, and they have just begun the media blitz for their upcoming film Guardians of the Galaxy. Even amidst all of that, they are still hitting the ground running today. Earlier today, Marvel Entertainment released a brand new TV Spot for Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

As with all the trailers for the film before it, this one is jam-packed with action. It starts out with the scene where The Winter Soldier fires his weapon at a vehicle containing Commander Fury. Needless to say, Fury is gravely injured in this incident.

Steve Rogers continues to have his issues with the way that things are done here in the modern world; however, that is something that he will either have to get over or affect change on if he plans to come out on top against one of his greatest challenges to date, The Winter Soldier.

What makes it even more difficult is the person aspect of this for Captain America. As most of you already know, the Winter Soldier is the genetically altered version of Rogers’ best friend Bucky Barnes. Will Captain America able to put the past behind him and save the world once again?

Here is a look at the latest TV spot for the upcoming Marvel adventure Captain America: The Winter Soldier.


The film brings together the cast of the original film. Chris Evans will be reprising his role as the patriotic superhero. The film also stars Scarlett JohanssonSebastian StanCobie SmuldersHayley AtwellSamuel L. Jackson, and Dominic Cooper.

Joining the cast of characters will be Emily Van Camp, who plays Agent 13, Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce, Frank Grillo as Brock Rumlow a.k.a. Crossbones, and Anthony Mackie who portrays Sam Wilson a.k.a. The Falcon.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is scheduled to be released in RealD 3D, IMAX 3D, and in Conventional Theaters on April 4, 2014.
