The tight end class for the NFL Draft this year is a bit deep with some great talent ready to showcase their skills at the professional level, and at the forefront of that group is Texas Tech tight end Jace Amaro, who already turned some heads at the Scouting Combine on Friday with his bench press showing.

When it was time for Amaro–who measured in at 6-5, 265-pounds–to hit the bench, he absolutely went off, throwing up 28 reps of 225 pounds, which is incredible given the length of his arms. Amaro’s limbs measured in at 34 inches, which puts the bench press feat into a little more perspective.

As if team’s didn’t covet the services of arguably the best tight end in football in 2013 enough before, they’re more than likely going to be foaming at the mouth to take him by the time May rolls around to add to their passing attacks.

In 2013, Amaro was not only one of the more proficient tight ends in college football, but one of the most proficient receivers, catching for over 1,300 yards.
