United States snowboarder Sage Kotsenburg was the first American to win a gold medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, but he wanted a little bit more. Kotsenburg took to social media to share his dreams about bringing home a gold medal made of bacon and he finally got that wish during a late night appearance with Conan O’Brien.

O’Brien got a bacon gold medal made from the folks at Pennsylvania-based meat company Godshall’s Quality Meats that was presented to Kotsenburg during his appearance.

Kotsenburg wasted no time enjoying the medal and was thrilled to receive such a cool gift.

Of course, immediately after eating it, Kotsenburg realized he had ruined the gift, so he requested that he receives another he can have as a keepsake.

If there is one thing Americans love more than gold medals in the Olympics, it would be gold medals. Kotsenburg truly is living the American dream.
