2014 NFL Combine: Cyrus Kouandjio fails physical, draft stock free-falling

Former Alabama Crimson Tide left tackle Cyrus Kouandijo began the 2013 college football season as one of the top offensive line draft prospects but after a so-so season that ended with a dreadful performance in the Sugar Bowl and an even worse performance at the NFL combine, he can say goodbye to the first round.

After turning in the slowest 40 of the day with a 5.59 time in which he was described as slow, sluggish and totally unprepared, his day became incredibly worse as several teams failed him on the physical, according to Ian Rapoport.

You hate to hear this about any player, but it is especially difficult to hear for one who began the season as a potential top-10 pick and it is over a failed surgery. I would guess the doctor who performed the operation could be hit with a lawsuit from Kouandjio over lost wages.
