Former Louisville Cardinals quarterback Teddy Bridgewater made news at the NFL combine when he decided he will not throw during the on-field workouts on Sunday, but when one of the top 2014 NFL draft prospects met with the media he made a few more, including which NFL quarterback he’s be if he could be any in NFL history.
Bridgewater said he’d be Johnny Unitas if he could be any QB in NFL history. Good answer.
When asked if the Houston Texans should take Bridgewater with the first overall selection, Bridgewater again had a good answer and the only one you would expect a competitor to say when he replied, “No doubt.”

But what really could separate him from other quarterbacks vying for the right to be the first quarterback taken and being the first overall selection is all the “virtual reps” he has taken.
Louisville QB Teddy Bridgewater said he’s always thinking about football & plays video games to stay sharp. “I call it taking virtual reps.”

Bridgewater says he has met with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Oakland Raiders already with a meeting scheduled today with the Texans. He has yet to meet with the Cleveland Browns.
