Jamison spent the whole season with the Los Angeles Clippers before getting sent to the Hawks on the NBA trade deadline.
Jamison and the Hawks were able to agree to a buyout this morning.
Though Jamison has had a down year, teams may still be in his ability to spread the court as a stretch-forward.
Jamison in a limited role has averaged 3.8 points and 2.5 rebounds for the Clippers this season.
He holds career averages of 18.5 points and 7.5 rebounds.
Jamison, 37, was originally drafted 4th overall by the Toronto Raptors before getting traded on draft day to the Golden State Warriors for Vince Carter.
