After announcing that Rajon Rondo (rest) and Jared Sullinger (head) were out tonight, the team has announced the details of Sullinger’s injury.

The Boston Celtics have announced that Sullinger has suffered a mild concussion during the loss against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Sullinger was hit in the head during the game.  Sullinger tallied 12 points and 12 rebounds in 30 minutes of action.

The Celtics will be on the road to face the Sacramento Kings.

If Sullinger has to miss extended time, he may also be out against the Utah Jazz on Monday.

Sullinger has put up 13.1 points and 8.3 rebounds this season for the rebuilding Celtics.

The Celtics drafted Sullinger 21st overall in the 2012 draft after he slid down the draft boards due to concerns of his back.
