Hawks' Jeff Teague expected to start against Knicks

Without Al Horford, Paul Millsap, and currently on an eight game losing streak, the Atlanta Hawks will need all the help they can get to get back on track.

Jeff Teague will return and start for the Hawks tonight against the New York Knicks.

Teague was out with an ankle injury in the Hawks’ loss to the Detroit Pistons.

Prior to the NBA trade deadline, Teague’s names was linked in trade rumors surrounding the Knicks.

Teague has averaged 15.5 points and 7.7 assists for the 25-29 Hawks.

The Hawks, 8th in the East, currently hold 4.5 game lead on the Knicks and a 1.5 game lead on the 9th seeded Detroit Pistons.

Millsap will miss the game after suffering a right knee contusion in the loss to the Pistons.

Horford is currently out for the season after suffering a pectoral muscle injury.
