The Orlando Magic waived Glen Davis a few days ago and after clearing waivers the big man is getting some serious attention. The Los Angeles Clippers merged as early favorites to land Davis but they have some competition from a pair of Eastern Conference teams.
While we’ve known about the Nets desire to recruit Davis, David Aldridge from TNT and NBA.com notes that the Chicago Bulls should be added to the list of teams interested in bringing in Davis for the second half of the season.
Add Bulls to list of teams interested in Glen Davis, per sources. Davis had a good relationship w/Tom Thibodeau when Thibs ran C’s defense.

The only question about Davis joining the Bulls is how it would move the team closer to the luxury tax. They traded away Luol Deng, moved Marquis Teague and refused to make a trade at the deadline so that they’d get under and stay under the tax.
Chicago is also rumored to be after Ben Gordon as well, meaning they’ll have to choose who they want — if anyone at all.
