The tight end position is quickly becoming one of the most important positions on the entire team as the offenses in the NFL grow and spread out a bit more, and this year’s class of tight ends possesses some great talent, talent that will showcase their physical skills on Saturday at the NFL Scouting Combine.

In the collegiate game, the tight end is used basically as another wide receiver on the field, as you can see in the NFL as well. Not only do some of these prospects possess some of the blocking skills necessary, but they are sometimes the most dangerous pass-catching threats on the entire field.

With that, let’s have a look at five of the prospects to watch on Saturday as the drills commence:
