Nikola Pekovic back tonight for Minnesota Timberwolves?

The Minnesota Timberwolves may be getting a BIG boost tonight.

Starting center Nikola Pekovic is listed as a game time decision tonight as the Wolves are in Utah to face the Utah Jazz.

Pekovic has been out the last 10 games with an ankle injury.

He suffered the injury just six minutes into a game against the Chicago Bulls back on January 27th.

The team hopes that his return can help them make one more push for the playoffs.

The Wolves (26-18) are 6 games out of the 8th and final spot in the Western Conference.

The team went just 4-6 without their center, so his presence back on the court with be a welcome sight, especially with starting shooting guard Kevin Martin currently out for an extended period of time.

Pekovic has averaged career highs of 18 points and 9.1 rebounds this season.
