Eric Bledsoe has taken the next step in his pursuit to return to the court.
The Phoenix Suns’ guard was able to do some 1-on-1 work during practice Saturday.
The Suns are currently the 6th seed in the West with the Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks, and Memphis Grizzlies right behind them.
The Suns may need Bledsoe to return to the court as quickly as possible to keep their playoff pursuit strong.
Bledsoe has missed the last 30 games with arthroscopic right knee surgery.
The team was 18-6 with Bledsoe in the lineup prior to his injury.
Bledsoe averaged 18 points, 5.8 assists, and 4.3 rebounds for the Suns.
Bledsoe may begin practicing with the team in the next week.
Bledsoe, 24, was drafted 18th overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder before sending his rights to the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Suns acquired the guard in a three team trade with the Clippers and Milwaukee Bucks.
