West Virginia lands the Adams twins, Jacquez & Jordan

After landing 3-star cornerback Kevin Williams on Friday, the West Virginia Mountaineers picked up two more commitments for the class of 2015 on Saturday.

The Adams twins, Jacquez and Jordan, both rated as a 3-star recruits, committed to the Mountaineers on Saturday.

“It would mean a lot (to play together),” Jacquez told Chris Anderson of EerSports, part of 24/7 Sports, when he got his offer. “You can’t separate twins. We’ve been playing football together since sixth grade. We’ve always had a good connection. I know if I got in trouble (on the field), I could throw to Jordan. We have that good vibe, that good chemistry. It is easy for me and Jordan to play on the football field together.”

The twins attend Franklin High School in Reisterstown, Maryland.

Jacquez is a 5’11, 165-pound athlete that projects as a wide receiver.  He is ranked as the 133rd best wide receiver prospect, 24th best overall prospect in the state of Maryland and the 1,066th best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.

The 6’0, 170-pound Jordan Adams projects as a cornerback, but is ranked as an athlete. He is considered the 83rd best athlete prospect, 19th best overall prospect in Maryland and 804th best overall prospect in the class of 2015.
