The Minnesota Twins came to Spring Training with a strong gesture of support for their general manager Terry Ryan.
Ryan announced earlier this month that he would be away from the team while dealing a treatable form of cancer in his neck. A longtime member of the organization, Ryan said he fully plans to return to his role with the team.
Yesterday each and every member of the Twins showed up to practice wearing Stand Up 2 Cancer t-shirts, supporting an important cause and showing their support to Ryan as they prepare for the season. Video below from MLB.com:
