It appears Jonathan Martin will never play for the Miami Dolphins again – this according to the Boston Globe.

Martin, of course, the subject of bullying from former teammate Richie Incognitio left the team during the middle of the 2013 season, leading to a tidal wave of drama which likely derailed the franchise who started out the season very hot.

Despite his absence, there was some thought that the Dolphins would potentially bring Martin back, but not according to Ben Volin who (via a source) says there is zero chance Martin returns to South Beach.

One source estimated that Martin has a “zero percent chance” of ever playing for the Dolphins again, as the players, coaches, and staff have too much resentment toward him for the way he handled this situation and cost people their jobs.

Volin goes on to suggest that source hints Martin likely won’t play in the NFL, though Volin himself believes Martin will get an opportunity to showcase his skills in the league again.

It doesn’t seem like that opportunity will come with the Dolphins however.
