The Toronto Raptors suffered a hopefully minor blow during their game against the Orlando Magic Sunday.
Starting power forward Amir Johnson left the game early against the Magic after re-aggravating a right ankle injury.
Johnson was able to play 23 minutes before suffering the injury. He finished with 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists before exiting the game.
Johnson first suffered the injury back in January. He was forced to sit out two games, but has since battled through the injury.
There have not been any reports yet of the severity of the injury and if Johnson will have to miss an extended period of time.
Johnson has averaged 10.3 points and 6.6 rebounds for the 30-25 Raptors, who currently sit 3rd in the Eastern conference.
If Johnson is out for an extended period of time, expect Patrick Patterson, Tyler Hansbrough, and Chuck Hayes to see an increase in minutes.
