A day after winning a game with a last second dunk, Nene’s season may be in question.
The Washington Wizards lost their starting power forward today against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Nene left during the 3rd quarter with a knee injury that occurred with no contact.

Nene will have an MRI on Monday. The Wizards and Nene will hope that the injury is nothing serious as they’ll need their big man to continue a push for the playoffs.
Against the New Orleans Pelicans last night, Nene finished with 30 points, 7 rebounds, and the game winning dunk in the last second of the game.
Nene totaled 21 minutes, 8 points, and 4 rebounds before exiting the game.
On the season Nene has averaged 14.4 points and 5.8 rebounds.
Nene has suffered previous knee injuries, tearing his ACL during the 2005 season with the Denver Nuggets
Kevin Seraphim, Trevor Booker, and possibly even Al Harrington will see an increase in minutes.
