Poor, poor, Louis Nix.
As if having an offensive lineman do the broad jump isn’t embarrassing enough, the former Notre Dame talent took it to a new level today when he had a bit of a mishap during his attempt.
Things started off fantastic for Nix who had a pretty solid jump – especially for a guy pushing 6’2 and 331 pounds. But that’s when things got a little hairy.
After the jump, Nix attempted to keep his balance so his jump could be measured. All good – right? Sure. That is until Nix began to slowly lose his footing and resembled a building ready for demolition.
Nix slowly began to lean back further and further before gravity did its job and nearly sent the massive Nix falling to the ground.
Thankfully he caught himself before it was too late and the coach doing the measuring was able to get out of the way before a certain death, making sure no players or coaches were harmed in the process.
Certainly one of the highlights of the combine today.
