The New York Knicks can’t buy a break if it was free with the purchase of whatever they seem to be smoking late in games. Yet again the Knicks fumbled away a great chance to win a huge game and watched in stunned horror as Dirk Nowitzki hit his first buzzer beater since 2009.

After tying the Mavs late in their game on Monday night, the Knicks made yet another boneheaded play to give the Mavericks the ball back with ample time on the clock. With over nine whole seconds not he clock, Dirk Nowitzki drained a cold blooded buzzer beater that looked like it was going to rim out but bounced in.

This is a way only the Knicks can lose, as they can’t get any bounces whatsoever but have to consistently watch their opponent get them at their expense.
