Florida State Seminoles hire Bill Miller as LB Coach

After Florida State Seminoles’ defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt left the Seminoles to take the same job with the Georgia Bulldogs, head coach Jimbo Fisher promoted linebackers’ coach Charles Kelly to defensive coordinator.

Fisher also moved Kelly to the secondary, the position Pruitt held.

That left a vacancy at linebackers’ coach and Fisher finally filled that position on Monday.

According to Pete Roussel of Coaching Staff, the Seminoles will hire Minnesota Golden Gophers’ associate head coach and linebackers’ coach Bill Miller.

Miller has been a defensive coordinator, has a lot of experience at big time universities and has coached with both of Florida State’s rivals, the Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes.

Below is a complete run down of all of Miller’s college jobs.
