NFL Draft Combine Rumors: Patriots allegedly looking at a Browns draft evaluation book? (Photo)

The Cleveland Browns recently parted ways with Michael Lombardi, who was then hired by the New England Patriots just days later.

Lombardi is currently in attendance at the 2014 NFL Draft Combine along with Patriots head coach (and good friend) Bill Belichick and the two are going over potential prospects – apparently using some type of book that may or may not be related to the Cleveland Browns.

According to Daryl Ruiter of Cleveland.com and NFL Radio on Sirus, Lombardi and Belichick were allegedly using a Cleveland Browns draft evaluation book.

Michael Lombardi caught on cam next to Bill Belichick sifting through draft evaluation book with #Browns logo on it.

Of course, the most likely scenario for this is Lombardi using a notebook that he used to scout when he was with the Browns organization. There’s obviously no reason to transfer all of his notes over to a Patriots draft evaluation book as that’s simply a waste of time (and likely a ton of work), though it certainly made for an interesting picture.

  • Real M-Fing talk !!!

There is nothing alleged when it comes to this grease ball franchise, but the Browns, this is like getting caught walking with an ugly chick and trying to pass her off as family…. we are not fooled! …i am still waiting for the NFL to put a giant asterisk next to those Pats Super bowl victories… I still say, if the evidence on the Pats was no big deal, why didn’t the NFL make it public?
