UCLA Bruins linebacker Anthony Barr is one of the top players at his position in the 2014 NFL Draft class, and he showed that again at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis for the NFL Scouting Combine on Monday afternoon.
Barr was one of the first linebackers to take the field for the 40-yard dash and threw down a solid “unofficial” time of 4.66.
You can watch his run below:
On his second attempt, Barr improved on his time by running a 4.63.
Of course, 40-yard dash times do not equal success at the next level, but it shows off Barr’s athleticism and straight line speed.
He can make his money during on-field drills later in the afternoon where scouts will be looking to see how fluid he can be.
