Caron Butler, Milwaukee Bucks talking buyout

Current buyout list included Glen Davis, Earl Clark, Jimmer Fredette, Metta World Peace, and now Caron Butler?

Reports are coming in that Butler and the Milwaukee Bucks are in talks for a buyout.

It comes to no surprise that the 33 year-old would look to escape the tanking Bucks.

Butler has averaged 11 points and 4.6 rebound this season.

Though he is no longer the shot creator he used to be, Butler still can play a key reserve role for a contender.

Rumored suitors include the San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat. Other rumors also mention that the Heat prefer Butler to other potential buyout candidate Danny Granger.

Butler was part of the Dallas Mavericks’ 2011 championship team, though he missed majority of the season and all the playoffs with an injury.

Teams that can’t sign Butler are the Los Angeles Clippers and Phoenix Suns, both traded him prior to the season tipping off.
