On Tuesday afternoon in Tampa, quite the notable event will take place as Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston will take the baseball diamond to face off against quite possibly the most famous franchise in all of sports history, the New York Yankees, meaning that there are a a few notable names in the same place at the same time.

Sort of like Winston with two Yankee legends, Derek Jeter and Jorge Posada.

Posasda, the legendary catcher, has already called it quits in his playing career and Jeter has announced that he will do so after the 2014 season. In some sad news, though, because he’ll take part in the team’s spring training game on Thursday, he won’t be facing Winston while he’s on the mound for the Florida State Seminoles, something that everyone had hoped they’d see.

Winston will play in the outfield today and then there is a chance that he will take that mound as he continues to make his name this year as a strong relief pitcher in the later innings, especially in the closing role.
