After three seasons ranked inside the top 14 in the past four seasons, including a top-three finish last season after defeating the Stanford Cardinal in the Rose Bowl, the Michigan State Spartans have given head coach Mark Dantonio a hefty raise along with his staff.

Dantonio will now make $3.64 million, $1.65 million than what he made last season and assistant head coach Pat Narduzzi who is the best defensive coordinator in the Big Ten and a future head coach somewhere will make $904,583, making him the highest-paid assistant in the conference.

Dantonio and Narduzzi weren’t the only ones to receive a raise according to Coaching Search which breaks down the salaries for the rest of the staff here:

Co-offensive coordinator / running backs coach Dave Warner ($379,167), co-offensive coordinator / tight ends coach Jim Bollman ($368,333), quarterbacks coach Brad Salem ($254,583), wide receivers coach Terrence Samuel ($243,750), offensive line coach Mark Staten ($254,583), defensive line coach Ron Burton ($243,750), linebackers coach / special teams coordinator Mike Tressel ($260,000) and defensive backs coach Harlon Barnett ($260,000).
