The NBA trade deadline has passed, but the NBA buyout deadline is still a few days away and that has plenty of teams on the lookout for players they think will help their postseason push. The Los Angeles Clippers are one of those teams and even though they’ve already added a player who was bought out, the team is expected to still be active buyers in the market.
According to ESPN.com insider Arash Markazi, Clippers head coach Doc Rivers noted that he’s still shopping for free agents and there may be a few that he likes before March 1st arrives.
Doc said he would be monitoring buyout season; said it wasn’t over yet. Expect the Clippers to make a move on another player or two.

March 1st is the deadline for teams to cut a player and still have him be eligible for the postseason. Los Angeles has already added Glen Davis from the Magic and are seemingly waiting for Danny Granger to hit the market as well.
There’s a chance they look Ben Gordon’s way if he’s bought out but either way it appears the Clippers are far from being done shopping.
