That’s the word from ESPN’s Marc Stein, who says he continues to hear whispers that the Spurs have interest in the veteran forward.
Whispers persist that San Antonio has interest in Danny Granger … IF Granger goes ahead with extricating himself from Philly via buyout
The fact that Granger has engaged in buyout talk with the Sixers seems to give good indication that he’d like to play for a contender rather than ‘re-establish his value’ with the Sixers for the final few months of the season.
In addition to the Spurs, the Miami Heat have also been linked to Granger – though they reportedly have their eyes on other players like Caron Butler.
Regardless, it appears as if Granger will have his choice of suitors if he is bought out.
