The UFC usually announces two or three fights on a card at a time, but today they have announced ten bouts for the UFC Fight Night 39 in Abu Dhabi in April. Headlining the event is a Heavyweight collision between Roy Nelson and Minotauro Nogueira.
The co-main event is a Featherweight bout between Clay Guida and Tatsuya Kawajiri. Kawajiri won his UFC debut in Singapore over Sean Soriano by second round rear naked choke. The win pushed his streak to six straight, and he will look for his seventh in a row come April. Guida is 1-3 in his last four fights and really needs to make a statement here to stay relevant inside the UFC.
Also featured on the card are a few Middleweight matchups. First up is Andrew Craig taking on TUF alumnus, Chris Camozzi. The second bout at 185 is between Thales Leites and Trevor Smith.
Heavyweights coming off UFC debut victories will meet as Jared Rosholt takes on Daniel Omielanczuk.
Flyweight action comes your way when Dustin Ortiz takes on Alptekin Ozkilic.
Undefeated Ryan LaFlare looks for his fourth straight UFC victory as he takes on the heavy handed John Howard.
The other three bouts that were announced today were Rani Yahya vs. Johnny Bedford, Ramsey Nijem vs. Beneil Dariush, and making their UFC debuts, Jim Alers vs. Alan Omer.
