Way back in October, 5-star defensive tackle Daylon Mack committed to the Texas A&M Aggies.
Since that commitment, offers have continued to pile up for Mack. He’s been offered by the Southern Cal Trojans and Auburn Tigers and already held an offer from the Alabama Crimson Tide, among many others.
On Wednesday, the Ohio State Buckeyes offers Mack. This is obviously an offer Mack has been waiting for.
“(Ohio State) is big-time,” Mack told Eleven Warriors. “They’ve been recruiting me since around the time of their bowl game.”
The 6’2, 310-pounder attends Gladewater High School in Gladewater, Texas.
“The Ohio State offer means a lot to me,” Mack said. “They are a top program and I’d love to get there for a visit with Coach Meyer and the rest of the Buckeye staff, hopefully I can get there sometime in the spring.”
Mack is ranked as the second best overall prospect in the state of Texas, the third best defensive tackle prospect in the country and the 11th best overall prospect, regardless of position, in the class of 2015 according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
