Auburn Tigers quarterback Nick Marshall may not be viewed as a top caliber NFL prospect at his position, but that hasn’t stopped him from dreaming of one day playing under center at the next level.
Marshall spoke about his desires to be an NFL quarterback back in February, where he made it clear that he believes he has the necessary talent to succeed.
“That’s my dream,” Marshall said according to AL.com. “I know that I’ll be able to play quarterback at the next level.”
Marshall will have to work on his mechanics and show that he can continue to develop and grow as a drop back passer, and if he is able to do that he could quickly become one of the more intriguing signal-callers in the 2015 draft class.
There is no questioning Marshall’s athleticism and mobility, so if he can bring his arm talent up to that level and improve on his efficiency he could start turning some heads.
Marshall has been able to step up in big situations for Auburn in the past, and now he will get another year to show he can do that on a more consistent level and become the quarterback that he believes he can be.
