Former Auburn Tigers cornerback Chris Davis will always be known for his amazing play to beat the Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2013 Iron Bowl. However, he would like to prove his talents extend beyond merely wrecking Alabama’s national title hopes.

Davis recently spoke with about the NFL combine, saying he received a lot of attention for his famous return but wants people to know he’s more than just a one-trick pony:

“It comes with making a play like that, but I’m just trying to stay humble. I know there’s more from Chris Davis to come.

“Beside that return, that’s what I got known for, but as a cornerback, a defensive back, I’m a great cover corner. I’m a physical corner, I like to get my hands on you at the line of scrimmage and I also like to come up in run support. I feel like I have the all-around (game) to be a good defensive back in the league.”

Davis is projected as being a fourth- or fifth-round pick.
