Houston Astros bullpen coach takes worst media day picture ever (Photo)

Your game might not be sharp yet – your throws might be offline and your swings behind on their timing. But you better be on point when it comes to taking pictures because most Major League Baseball clubs take their team photos the day or two before games start.

And being that games started today, teams spent the last few days snapping photos.

That includes the Houston Astros, but apparently, bullpen coach Craig Bjornson didn’t get the whole ‘photogenic’ memo.

I’m not sure what Bjornson was doing here – but I’m guessing he wasn’t aware that photo’s taken on media day are used for the entire season.

Of course, this was likely just one of a handful that Bjornson took, but wouldn’t it be funny if somebody decided to put this picture in the Astros media guide? Or use it on the ‘Stros scoreboard this season?

Hell – maybe it’s a tactic hoping to scare opposing offenses given the Astros pitching staff certainly isn’t going to do it.

If that’s the case, touche Mr. Bjornson, touche.
