The New York Yankees have spent enough money to make the Federal Reserve blush this offseason, yet despite that, the team still has some holes.

Because of that, they may be in the market to trade one of their catchers – expendable given the addition of Brian McCann this offseason.

According to the New York Post, Francisco Cervelli (who is out of options) Austin Romine or J.R. Murphy could be on the move.

The Yankees could deal Cervelli, who is out of options, or Romine, or Murphy. The Yankees, who gave the 21-year-old Sanchez $3 million to sign as a 16-year old, view him as a future everyday major league catcher.

The White Sox were one of several teams to send a scout to Tuesday’s 8-3 Yankees victory over Florida State at George M. Steinbrenner Field, and an industry source said the White Sox are looking for catching.

In addition to the White Sox, scouts from the San Francisco Giants, Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros and Minnesota Twins attended the Yankees game on Tuesday in which all three catchers played.

Well what & who are the yanks looking to get for one of those catchers? Rumors had it that Tulo might be available! But iam pretty sure it would take more than one of those catchers the yanks are looking to trade.
