Veteran forward Metta World Peace has been waived by the New York Knicks and he is expected to have several suitors. It was originally believed that they San Antonio Spurs could be interested in signing World Peace. After all, they could use another wing, especially one with big-time playoff experience.

Although those tweets are in regard to veteran forward Danny Granger, many would expect the same could apply to World Peace, especially if Granger signs with the Los Angeles Clippers, who are considered to be the favorites for his services.

However, that does not appear to be the case.

World Peace averaged 4.8 points and 2.0 assists per game for the Knicks this season.
