As the NHL trade deadline draws nearer, we are beginning to hear some rumblings about the direction some teams are leaning regarding whether or not to make a move. For Philadelphia Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren, it looks like no moves are on the horizon.
“I don’t foresee anything major happening,” Holmgren said, via the Philadelphia Daily News. “I’m sure there’s going to be some guys available. Whether there’s going to be some guys who can improve our team, that is the question.”
With so many teams still in the playoff hunt, it could be difficult to find trading partners so we could be in for a relatively quiet deadline so we will have to wait and see whether other teams feel the same way as Holmgren.
