The Utah Jazz defeated the Phoenix Suns 109-86 at EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Jazz improved to 21-36, and the Suns fell to 33-24.
The Jazz cruised to victory against a Suns team that did not have their two leading scorers. Goran Dragic (20.2 PPG) did not play due to an ankle injury, and Eric Bledsoe (18.0 PPG) continues to rehab his surgically-repaired knee.
The Suns need Dragic and Bledsoe to return soon because they are fighting for a spot in the playoffs. Phoenix is currently in the eighth and final spot in the West, only a half game ahead of the Memphis Grizzlies.
Jazz top performers: Gordon Hayward nearly missed out on a triple-double with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists. Richard Jefferson netted 17 points and collected three boards.
