Alabama Crimson Tide defensive back Vinnie Sunseri tore his ACL in October, but that wasn’t enough to keep him from declaring for the 2014 NFL Draft. Many have been wondering when Sunseri will be able to resume workouts and attempt to impress NFL scouts, and now we have our answer.

According to Senior Bowl executive director Phil Savage, Sunseri will participate in Alabama’s second pro day in April.

Spoke to Bama’s Vinnie Sunseri at airport. Says he is cleared to begin running and will participate in second pro day for Tide in early April,” Savage wrote on Twitter.

It will be interesting to see how Sunseri performs at the Pro Day, because a strong performance could land him in the late-third to early-fourth round mix.

If Sunseri shows that he still has a way to go before he is healthy enough to play at a high level, then he will likely be a late-round pick.
