Arkansas at Kentucky final score: Razorbacks complete season sweep of Wildcats, 71-67 in OT

The odds seemed firmly stacked against the Arkansas Razorbacks on Thursday. Not only were they walking into Rupp Arena to take on the 17th-ranked Kentucky Wildcats, but they were walking into Rupp to take on a Kentucky team that was out for vengeance having already been bested by the Hogs in overtime this season.

Well, on this night, those odds didn’t matter as it was all more of the same in this one as Arkansas once again gutted out an incredible overtime win over John Calipari and company, 71-67.

Three Arkansas starters–Rashad Madden (12), Coty Clarke (11) and Michael Qualls (14)–finished in double figures as they finished the improbable season sweep of a team that was once considered quite possibly the best in the country.

Kentucky got just about all they could from their star, Julius Randle, in this one as he finished with the double-double, dropping in 14 points and adding in 10 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough in the end.

Now, the Wildcats need to pick themselves up, and quickly, as the SEC Tournament rapidly approaches.
