Blackhawks at Rangers: live stream, start time, TV info and more

The Chicago Blackhawks and New York Rangers couldn’t be in more polar opposite positions coming out of the 2014 Winter Olympic break. One squad is headed toward the playoffs with one of the top seeds in the league, barring an epic collapse. The other is trying to find a trade partner to take on their captain, who will likely leave via free agency is allowed to do so.

That’s the storyline heading into this matchup between the Rangers and Blackhawks.

Chicago is in the midst of another fine season. Patrick Kane might need to shake off being at the center of America’s collapse in Sochi, but that shouldn’t be an issue once he gets back to the winning environment of Chicago. The ‘Hawks are tied with the St. Louis Blues for the top spot in the Central Division, and that race will likely come down to only a point or two.

Taking a nice off against Cam Talbot and the Rangers isn’t an option, as such. Henrik Lundqvist will get the night off after leading Sweden to a gold medal win in Sochi, but the backup has proven more than capable so far this season.
