The Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, the Toledo Mud Hens, plan to wear a Ghostbusters inspired uniform this season – that’s the word from the Mud Hens themselves.

The team posted a photo of the jersey on their Instagram account and understandably, it’s received an absurd amount of praise.

The uniform, as expected, looks just like you’d expect it to – very reminiscent of those used in the popular film.

Toledo plans to wear the brown based uniform on May 30th.

The jersey comes fully equipped with what I would assume is ghost splatter on both the front and back and also is designed to look like a coverall with straps for the Ghostbuster’s famed backpacks.

Missing of course will be those backpacks, though, that might actually make for quite a game.

I wouldn’t mind watching outfielders run around trying to suck up evil spirits between innings.

It’s one of the more interesting promotions we’ve seen from a minor league baseball team who often come up with neat marketing gimmicks to attract customers/receive national attention.

So far, so good.
