Hurricanes at Stars live stream: How to watch online

USA Today Sports

The Carolina Hurricanes and Dallas Stars are both looking for two increasingly valuable points in the standings, and their matchup is only a few hours away now.

For Carolina, this will be a chance to get back on track after coming out flat against the Buffalo Sabres in a makeup game that went down on Tuesday. Cam Ward was beaten three times on just 18 shots on goal by one of the weakest teams in the NHL. His various attempts to bounce back from injury this season have only been met with more and more disappointment, and at this juncture it seems that Anton Khudobin has all but secured the No. 1 job for the Hurricanes.

He’ll be tasked with shutting the door on Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin. The former was one of Canada’s top forwards in Sochi during the 2014 Winter Olympics, while the latter has had several weeks to rest and get ready for the playoff push. This is an important game for Dallas. With so many other teams active, if they don’t play well they could find themselves out of a Wild Card spot by the end of the night.

Who will come out on top? Tune in to find out?
