Jameer Nelson says trailing Philadelphia 76ers is like bird dumping on you

The Philadelphia 76ers just experienced one of the worst months in NBA history – a month that featured zero wins, going 0-13 in the process.

It was the franchises first winless month since 1973 as the team continues its epic tank towards the NBA’s Draft Lotto.

Philadelphia’s final game of February, which came against the Orlando Magic almost went their way as they were leading at halftime, but a blunder of a second half ended that hope.

That was a good thing for Orlando Magic point guard Jameer Nelson, who suggested the equivalent of trailing the 76ers was to that of a bird pooping on your head.

“You’d have felt like a bird pooped on your head,” Orlando Magic guard Jameer Nelson said, assessing the situation in the visitors’ locker room at the break. “Like, disgusted. Like, ‘Aaaahhw.’ One of those types of things.”

I’ve heard players describe the opposition in many odd ways before, but that might be the most unique I’ve ever come across.

You know your season is down the tubes when you’re compared to a bird dump.
